MLB catcher power rankings entering week 14

The 2026 MLB All-Star Game is a little more than three weeks away. Players are making pushes to represent their respective leagues in Philadelphia. Certain players have pushed through early-season slumps while others are continuing to perform at elite levels. Entering Week 14, here are the top 10 catchers in the league.

1. Dillon Dingler, Detroit Tigers

The Detroit catcher has been extraordinary in 2026. He’s set a new career high in home runs and is one of the Tigers’ offensive leaders. Entering the week, Dingler is a handful of RBI away from reaching a new career best mark.

2. Shea Langeliers, Athletics

Langeliers has been one of MLB’s top catchers. Entering the week, he is leading American League catchers in home runs. Along with Nick Kurtz and Tyler Soderstrom, Shea Langeliers brings excitement to the fans as the team prepares for their 2028 move to Las Vegas.

3. Drake Baldwin, Atlanta Braves

Baldwin has been the National League’s best catcher since the start of the season. He missed time with an oblique injury but showed no signs of rust since returning from the injured list. The catcher has made an impact for the NL East-leading Atlanta Braves.

4. Hunter Goodman, Colorado Rockies

Goodman had modest production in the first three months of the season. However, the Colorado catcher has been on a tear in June. Entering the week, Hunter Goodman leads MLB catchers in home runs.

5. Liam Hicks, Miami Marlins

Hicks’ season isn’t getting enough attention. He has been one of MLB’s best offensive producers from the catcher position. Entering the week, he leads the Marlins in home runs and RBI.

6. William Contreras, Milwaukee Brewers

The first-place Milwaukee Brewers have received great production from their veteran catcher. Entering the week, Contreras leads the team in hits. He has three weeks to solidify a spot on the National League All-Star roster.

7. Dalton Rushing, Los Angeles Dodgers

The rookie had a strong start to the season but faced adversity following April’s massive production. Manager Dave Roberts continues to get Rushing consistent at-bats while Will Smith is out. The left-handed hitter has crushed right-handed pitchers.

8. Adley Rutschman, Baltimore Orioles

Rutschman was outstanding during the months of March and April. His production slipped in May before he rounded in June. Over the weekend, he was placed on the injured list with a concussion.

9. Samuel Basallo, Baltimore Orioles

Basallo has given Baltimore a glimpse of the future in his rookie season. He’s displayed power but struggled with an abundance of swings and misses. Entering the week, Samuel Basallo is third on the team in home runs.

10. Gabriel Moreno, Arizona Diamondbacks

Moreno’s is having an under-the-radar season. He produced modest production in March and April but has turned it around since the calendar changed to May. He’s on pace to end the season with career highs in hits, extra-base hits, home runs, and RBI.
