Even though soccer is not the biggest sport in the USA, many Americans have become fans of Mauricio Pochettino’s team during the World Cup.
Their knockout-round match against Bosnia is expected to break television viewership records, while the San Francisco Bay Area Stadium will also be full.
However, one Bosnian supporter admitted that he still does not respect the USMNT fans’ knowledge of the game.

Sports fans in the United States have generally been more interested in American football and basketball than soccer.
But Americans love nothing more than a successful team, and the USMNT have been that so far at the World Cup.
Pochettino’s side won their opening two games of the tournament: 4-1 against Paraguay and 2-0 against Australia.
American fans now expect the USMNT to beat Bosnia comfortably and advance to the Round of 16.
However, one Bosnian fan believes the underdogs can shock the world and upset the USA in San Francisco.
“I think we’re going to beat the USA. The rest is history,” he explained in a video circulating on social media.
He also dismissed the USMNT’s supporters as clueless in a brutal dig that is often aimed at American football fans.
“I don’t care,” he said. “There are many Panamanian and English fans around. USA [fans] don’t know anything about football. They’re just cheering USA, USA.”
Christian Pulisic and his teammates have even more motivation to beat their European opposition and reach the Round of 16.
