In a brief statement provided Wednesday night (Via Detroit Free Press), the organization said:

“We are aware of the legal situation regarding Terrion Arnold. We will not comment at this time out of respect for the ongoing legal process.”

The statement comes soon after reports surfaced that Arnold had been arrested on multiple felony charges. At this time, authorities have not publicly released additional details regarding the allegations.

Arnold, Detroit’s first round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, has quickly become an important member of the Lions’ secondary. The former Alabama standout appeared in 16 games as a rookie before recording 31 tackles, one interception, and eight passes defended through the first eight games of the 2025 season.

For now, the Lions are taking a measured approach as the legal process unfolds. With the organization declining further comment, attention now turns to the release of additional information from law enforcement and whether the NFL will address the matter under its Personal Conduct Policy.
