Seattle Mariners Well-Featured in Top 50 Prospect List From MLB Insider

The Seattle Mariners farm system is continuing to yield positive results for the team.
The Mariners called up the top organization in their farm system, Colt Emerson, on May 19 and he's been a valuable contributor the team since and has posted an .877 OPS in 10 games.

Not including Emerson, Seattle has five other prospects on MLB Pipeline's top 100.
The Mariners were also well-featured on the latest Top 50 list from the Athletic's Keith Law.
Law had Seattle with three prospects on its top 50. Here's an overview of those four players and where they ranked:
Kade Anderson, LHP, No. 4Anderson is in the midst of his first season of professional ball with the Double-A Arkansas Travelers.
The No. 3 pick in the 2025 MLB Draft joined the organization with a lofty amount of expectations after leading the NCAA Division I in strikeouts and being named the NCAA College World Series Most Outstanding Player with the LSU Tigers.
The 21-year-old has exceeded those expectations. He's posted a 1.63 ERA and has struck out 58 batters in 38.3 innings pitched across eight starts.

Sloan was picked in the second round of the 2024 MLB Draft and was considered one of the most physically impressive pitching prospects in the draft.
Sloan, like Anderson, began this year with Double-A. Sloan had a slower start to the year but has started to pick things up and has allowed one earned run or less in two of his last three outings.
Sloan has a 5.17 ERA this year and has fanned 38 hitters in 31.1 innings pitched across eight starts.
Felnin Celesten, SS, No. 17Celesten, who was signed to a team-record $4.7 million contract in the 2023 international signing period, was regarded as a top 100 player for a large portion of his professional career.
Injuries limited him to just 136 games from 2023-25 due to various injuries. Celesten struggled upon being promoted to the High-A Everett AquaSox.
When Celesten was promoted to Everett, he slashed .158/.313/.289 and hit a triple and a home run with four RBIs in 11 games.
This season, Celesten returned to High-A and has is putting together by far his best season as a professional.
The 20-year-old shortstop has slashed .329/.435/.493 with a .928 OPS in 42 games with Everett and has hit 11 doubles, a triple and four homers with 26 RBIs. He had a 25-game hit streak.
