The Miami Dolphins are back in the building, working through their organized team activities before the start of the mandatory minicamp, which will run from June 2-4 at their Baptist Health Training Complex.
During last week's OTA sessions, the Dolphins had two key players participating despite looking for new contracts, including linebacker Jordyn Brooks.

Brooks told reporters why he's on the field.
"For me, I know I need to get better as a player, so that's why I show up," Brooks said. "And then obviously, I never want to give the wrong message to the team or to my teammates. I play with these guys, go to battle with them, and I want them to know that I'm here no matter what, playing the game for the right reasons, and so I show up to work because that's what’s required of me."
The 2025 All-Pro linebacker brings the type of energy and leadership that a young team desperately needs, and those qualities were on full display in a video that the team released of one of the OTA sessions with Brooks mic'd up.
Let's check it out:
Brooks is just 28 years old, and while he's older than most of the roster, the Dolphins will need a player like him long term if they want to build something in South Florida.
