Steelers FA wide receiver Scotty Miller to visit multiple teams

· Yahoo Sports

According to ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter, Pittsburgh Steelers free agent wide receiver Scotty Miller is making the rounds in free agency, including stops with the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears.

Miller originally signed with the Steelers back in May, 2024. He spent the season with Pittsburgh but was released in January of 2025. The Steelers then brought Miller later that month. Miller appeared in 11 games last season and even got one start. Miller finished with nine receptions for 62 receiving yards.

Any thought of Miller returning to the Steelers ended when the Steelers drafted a pair of wide receivers in the 2026 NFL draft.

The Steelers passing offense was anemic to say the least last season. Pittsburgh has completely rebuilt its wide receiver depth chart by adding rookies Germie Bernard, along with Kaden Wetjen, and trading for Michael Pittman Jr. Miller was one of a multitude of mediocre receivers the Steelers tried to put on the field, with none of them making the offense any better.
