After the installation, the place has started attracting many devotees and local residents who are visiting to offer prayers.
Mahant Bhagwandas, the head priest of Nirmohi Akhada, said the statue was built after fulfilling his long-standing vow.
He said that when Lord Rama would be seated on his throne in Ayodhya and the long-running dispute ended, he would build a grand statue of Lord Hanuman in Bundelkhand. Now that vow has been fulfilled.
Bhagwandas also said that at Janray Toriya, Lord Rama is worshipped as “Ajanbhuj Sarkar.” This form shows the moment of the killing of Khar and Dushan.
According to him, such a form is not installed anywhere else in the world, which is why a special and huge statue of Hanuman has also been set up here.
