John and Mable Ringling Museums
Located at 5401 Bay Shore Road in Sarasota, Florida, the John and Mable Ringling Museums are comprised of a world renowned Art Gallery amassed by John Ringling, himself, the Circus Museum, Ca'd'zan ( House of John ) and the Asolo Theater. They are open daily, 10am to 5 pm.
International Independent Showman's Association Museum
The Museum is located directly across the street from the Convention Building. You'll be greeted by veteran Showman, painter and generally useful person, David "Doc" Rivera. The Museum is full of History, artifacts, models and rides. Outside, you'll find carnival pieces from the past including several old Royal American Shows wagons. The Museum will be open Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 5 pm.
Florida Railroad Museum
The Florida Railroad Museum is located a short distance from Gibsonton at 12210 83rd St E, Parrish, Fl. 34219. The Museum’s Ticket Office and Gift Shop is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 AM until 4 PM. Limited equipment displays are available during the week. Train rides are available on Saturday and Sunday only, departing at 11 AM and 2 PM. Some Ringling cars and wagons are here.
Ring of Fame - St. Armand's Circle
The Circus Ring of Fame is located in Sarasota FL at the St. Armand's Circle Central Park. Central Park is the inner area of St. Armand's Circle, with the monuments to circus greats scattered in groups along the circle’s outer sidewalk. From US-41 Tamiami Trail go to downtown Sarasota. turn west on the John Ringling Causeway-FL 785. Go 2.4 miles and you will arrive at St. Armand's Circle. Central Park is in the center of the circle.
Busch Gardens - Tampa
Family Fun and adventure awaits you at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida. The park is open 10 am to 7 pm and open until 10pm on Saturday. You can call 813-884-4FUN for details.
